Student Naiveity...

I can't believe how naive these kids can be.

One student went on an ethnic tirade about how Orthodox Jews look and how they don't assimilate with American culture. You have to be freaking kidding me.

I sometimes feel like there are some students who are simply doomed to their ignorance. They'll forever live their lives totally disregarding the cultures of others. This student refused to believe that other countries don't speak English. What a moron.

Should students talk like that about cultural ignorance in my classroom, I would most likely lose my license because I'd probably kick some serious ass. They have no sense of who they're surrounded by. It's inexcusable to think that as an abused and neglected minority that students feel that they are immune from being held accountable for the stupid shit they say about other cultures.

We could really use some corporal punishment around here...
