Stupidity in the Ranks...

Don't get me wrong, I've seen and heard some stupid things but usually from those below me (students and such), not above me...

How is it that a superintendent with LITTLE TO NO TEACHING EXPERIENCE can spontaneously enter a classroom for 10 minutes and criticize how well or effective a lesson is??

Is this the future of educational leadership?!

How the hell do we as a society allow schools to be run by people who have little to no actual teaching experience?

Wow, my mind is totally blown away by these observations.

This is our educational future, nobody wants to be a teacher who faces the scrutiny of everybody and shoulders the burden of every single success and failure.

There are people who actually aspire to become principals and superintendents by going to MANAGEMENT/ADMINISTRATIVE GRADUATE PROGRAMS so they treat these schools like factories or businesses instead of community centers...

To the superintendent who is bound to give me feedback on a lesson (without the common sense of looking at the student population, their abilities, and their skills) I say, find another sucker who will swallow your kool-aide.

** I wasn't the one who was observed, by the way.
