National Geographic: Patterns in Nature

I have made it no secret that I love pictures. I'm a very visually stimulated person. Tell me a story and I'll zone out. But show me a photo and I'm fascinated. I recently ordered a DVD set of all of National Geographic's pictures... Pretty sweet...

But what I really posted for was that I came across a section on their website where they look specifically at patterns in nature.

This one was specifically looking at butterflies, however, they have albums covering many different aspects of the patterns we see or ignore in nature.

Thought this was a cool way to visually stimulate the students during a lesson on evolutionary adaptations.

They also have a games section, so I've added that link to blogs, wikis, and websites as National Geographic - Games.
