There's a lot of blog-wars about Sarah Palin this and Sarah Palin that. It is no secret that I haven't been the biggest fan of Sarah Palin but I have only responded to her public statements and her public actions (which are fair game to public scrutiny).
I will forever concede that Sarah Palin may actually be an individual of high moral character. I don't know and I don't care. What I do care about is if somebody tries to fool the American public into getting into high public office by advocating policy that would not only set us back but would also serve no purpose whatsoever.
So let it be known that I'll admit that Sarah Palin may actually be a nice person. But it doesn't change the fact that she speaks before having the full facts and has demonstrated herself to be a moron when it comes to matters of science, international politics, education, and health care policy.
The only conceivable way that she could possibly win my vote, should she run for president in 2012, is if she goes back to a notable school and learns something respectable (which is about as likely as me winning the lottery 5 times in a row). If she goes back to school, maybe she'll actually read some newspapers or magazines instead of posing for them.
In retrospect, Sarah Palin is not the kind of person who can teach me anything new, which leaves little room for respect in a political arena, where you have to bring some intellectual innovation/talent/savvy to the table. I mean her competitors are very highly educated, so there's no contest in an academic debate on issues. If she goes to school and attains a respectable degree, this could fix several problems with her marketability as a presidential candidate... Not that I would want her running this country...
