There's an encyclopedia of life that is trying to archive and profile every known life form ever discovered all in one massive online encyclopedia. Seems kind of cool.
It would make a wonderful starting point for any student investigations into the unknown life forms that exist, especially with kids that grow up in an urban jungle (not much life to experience).
