I am currently watching an episode of Futurama... Good stuff. This episode in particular addresses evolution and the arguments against evolution.
The most frequently used argument against evolution typically points towards the gaps in the fossil record. And this episode sort of mocks that argument in the sense that if you take it too far, you'll never believe in evolution (which makes it sort of futile to even bother convincing you to begin with).
Just thought this was an enlightening moment in animation. It's nice to see Orangutan professors and Flying Spaghetti Monsters in cartoon form.
