Here's an animation of oxidative phosphorylation.
I normally don't cover this depth of material but I can't help but put this out there for the honors or AP clsases who may find it useful. This is something that is difficult to teach since it's such an abstract concept and if students have difficulty with simpler concepts like diffusion or osmosis, this is something they'll never comprehensively understand.
In any case there's a lot of information embedded in this animation but I'm sure it's a useful teaching and learning tool. It's nice how it lays out the products of each step of the cellular respiration process.
The animation has been added to Biology as Flash - Oxidative Phosphorylation.
