I took this personality test a while back and thought the results were pretty interesting. The ultimate result was that I am an ISFJ or that I am an Introverted Sensing Feeling Judgmental personality.
They have pretty in depth profile of each different type of personality combination so it's interesting to see how they get along with each other and what kinds of jobs best fit each personality type.
I'm kind of curious now what sort of personalities my kids have, maybe I'll try to get them to take the personality test and to see if it's a reasonable description of who they are. The real problem is getting them to take the test seriously enough to genuinely answer the questions.
Usually students start school and they're given surveys and ice breakers but it would be kind of interesting to get an early glimpse into our student's personalities before they start breaking free from their brain-dead state.
Students are rarely reflective or introspective of what they learn or experience in school. And it's hard to get the one-on-one time with every student to make sure that they're on track and they're going to do what they have to to graduate on time. Though forcing students to do so is not the best practice and probably would be a bad idea but to promote students to start a blog of their own or to use journals in class wouldn't hurt, right?
Maybe this is something to explore for my health class...
