Yup, it's that time of year again... Summer session!
The immersion fellows have already started their training so they're pretty occupied from day to day. I am not going to be THAT occupied, but it'll still be an interesting end of the year to go to work for a full day then go to class in the evening.
The only downside to going to this class is that it's 4 times a week and it's from 6:30-8:35 PM so if I took mass transit, which I could potentially do, I'd get home around 9:45 PM... At least I wouldn't have to plan much since it's mostly Regents review anyway.
The one thing I can remember about going through summer training is establishing an everyday routine. They do pretty well to get you in the habit of getting up early and getting home late, something you may end up doing during the school year.
I miss training though. It's an odd sentiment, but I suppose once you've gone through your first few weeks or months in the classroom, you'll miss going to grad class instead.
I'm sitting in the living room watching the show "Bizarre Foods" and it makes me want to travel sooo badly... St. Petersburg looks amazing. I never would have thought that I would ever catch myself wanting to go to Russia... Just not in winter...
Travel comes later... That's what the World Cup is for...
