Progress reports have been released for all schools in NYC.
My school received a C.
My graduation rates were a bit deflated apparently. I was told that the DOE gave us a 38% or something but they really gave us a 40%. What a bunch of morons.
At least we didn't get a D.
Presidential candidates have some interesting positions on education. It doesn't help anybody in NYC, unfortunately.
I still don't know who to vote for. I'm more comfortable with Obama in office, but it doesn't mean I like him as President. His idea to provide massive quantities of money for mentoring teachers is off-target. FOCUS ON STUDENT MENTORSHIP, THEY NEED IT MORE THAN WE DO!! But I do agree that early childhood educational support is a must.
McCain will ruin education outright. And by doing so he will ruin America's economic recovery and ruin America as a society. So I feel that should McCain pull a victory this November, I will seek citizenship elsewhere.

I like how you come across as undecided then end with being an expat. It's either really honest, good satire or both.
