BBC: Stephen Hawking at Cambridge

The BBC created another audio slide show but this one was about Stephen Hawking stepping down as a professor at Cambridge University. It's not a retirement since he will still be director of research in some capacity.

I just thought that in spite of the robotic voice that he has embraced as his own, he still manages to put a human touch to his words.

I thought it was a nifty tribute to a brilliant man. What a life story to overcome such physical adversity to become one of the leading minds on astrological phenomena.

Check it out and maybe you could use it in a lesson of sorts for whatever subject area you teach. This will not be listed in the links since there really is no curricular relevance in terms of Regents requirements...
