NYCTF: You'd like me to do what?!

Dear Fellow,

Did you know that 18% of New York City’s current science teachers have come through the NYC Teaching Fellows program? You can help NYCTF continue to reach the most talented science candidates for the Fellowship by becoming a Fellow Ambassador!

If you are interested in sharing your passion and dedication for teaching science in NYC classrooms, I encourage you to apply. Submit your application online by Tuesday, October 13th.

Fellow Ambassadors earn $30 per hour and are expected to work several hours per week from November 2009-May 2010. Ambassador responsibilities range from speaking with prospective applicants on the phone and through webinars, to attending public information sessions and accepted applicant events, and writing content for e-mails and newsletters.

To learn more, read the full job description. The application will be open until Tuesday, October 13, and interviews will be held during the last two weeks of October. Selected Fellow Ambassadors will be required to attend a mandatory training on Saturday, November 14.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes for a happy and productive school year,
Sincerely,

Abigail Duffine
Marketing and Recruitment Manager
