If it's believable, it must be true!!

I told my students that I name my dog after a sexually transmitted infection, "Gonorrhea." Their initial reaction is universally upset and shocked. They would share their outrage and ask me why on Earth I would do such a thing to such a cute little creature. And then I'd explain myself... "Well, it's not like he knows it's a terrible disease. To him, it's his name. He seems happy with it. Hell, he even responds when I call him 'Diarrhea' because they sound similar." And they seem to buy it. Or they stop pushing the issue.

For reference I would never name a dog this cute after a sexually transmitted disease. His actual name is Scooby.
