Taking the Physics CST

If you ever plan on taking the physics CST, study electric fields, electromagnetic flux, and superconductors. Everything else should be habitual math (kinematics, mechanics, vectors, and graphing).

I wasn't expecting the written section to be the kind of question it was. It was a graphing question that asked about if you're given a velocity vs. time graph, how you would determine the displacement and how you would determine the acceleration. Pretty conceptually easy. It's only 10% of your total grade so don't spend too much time worrying about the essay.

The math was pretty simple also. Just be warned, they don't give you about 1/3 of the formulas that you need. And if they give you formulas, they won't explain the variables. So know your units and how to get them. Like the relationship between Watts, electrical potential, and current.

I bombed the electromagnetic subarea, but I creamed all the other areas. I think I did well enough to pass so I'm not too worried, but you never know...
