BBC: Herschel Telescope

The BBC now has an audio slide show on the Herschel Telescope.

Being that I'm sort of a photography nut, I was intrigued at the difference in image resolution between the ground telescope images and the infrared telescope images. It makes sense that you'd be able to see more than the ground telescopes would allow but there's a clear difference when you exit our atmosphere and take the same photograph.
