NPR: You don't have to throw out your eggs... Just cook them!

I have a huge grudge against the media networks that advocate the wasteful practice of throwing away food that you can cook to cleanse of salmonella contamination.

Why don't you just throw your money away!? The risks of infection is fairly low, but if you want to drop the risk even further, just cook the eggs properly!
