Orangutans: Setting a Bad Example?

NPR has a story about how Orangutans aren't lazy, they're just evolved to hang around.

Though the title is a bit deceiving, the notion of laziness is a concept that we're all too familiar with yet to say that we've evolved to hang around as a mechanism of energy conservation is a bit of a stretch.  It may make sense for an orangutan, but it doesn't make sense for humans.

I just thought the level of energy conservancy was astounding in comparison to even sedentary human activities.

Use this article at your own risk, I probably wouldn't use it, I just thought it was interesting.
