We live in a world where people are interested in online profiles of people they've never met before.
What's even scarier is when we take this to another level. Imagine if you submit your DNA to an online dating site like scientificmatch.com, what would you expect when you review your matches?
Would you be willing to submit your DNA to match to a potential mate?
Honestly, when I think about submitting my DNA for any sort of analysis, I sporadically think that they're going to clone me or frame me for some violent crime or what-not... I'm just paranoid.
