The BBC has an audio slide show of images of science. Some are really artistic, others are really interesting pictures.
Not sure how this would fit in to a lesson or a curriculum but it makes for an interesting lead-in to the beauty of nature and how previous societies demonstrated their appreciation of nature through their artwork or their pictures. Seems kind of interesting to note also the cultural perceptions of nature in a geographic and ethnic context... But they don't really go too far into that. I thought that Hooke's drawing of the flea were really cool though...
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
