There's a life science search engine. Weird.
They also make cartoons. But in any case, it seems pretty technical so use it if you need to find an experimental protocol to run an experiment. It's serious science.
The classroom application for this may be limited unless you're getting students to research the more technical aspects of science and the experiments that are conducted on a regular basis. Wouldn't hurt to get students to use it to look up how tedious experiments can be or how measuresments are important when it comes to gels and microarrays.
What's pretty useful is finding powerpoints through this search engine. You could definitely find material to incorporate into your own lessons. :)
Enjoy!
