The BBC has another audio slideshow about the Wellcome Trust. They have an online library that is very comprehensive and I'd recommend using. I may start listening to their podcasts regularly.
This is the trust that's responsible for creating the Tree of Life flash animation.
I thought it was interesting to learn more about the establishment of this organization and its roots in biomedical science. Brings a lot of things into perspective in terms of the advancement of science (the whole "science marches on" sentiment).
I also don't know how I would use this in a classroom but it does shed a lot of light on the organization and their roots in terms of supporting scientific progress and development.
The Wellcome Trust has another audio slideshow about The Secret of Life which I thought was really good also about the discovery of the structural attributes of DNA.
In addition to their collection of articles and podcasts, they have a very deep collection of photographs that they showcase in this audio slideshow that illustrates Beautiful Science.
