Some Resources...

To the new Fellow, on the right I have added some of the links I have used to help me create more interesting lessons for my kids. I know you may not have computers or projectors so many of the flash sites might be completely useless, but if you have these resources, make use of them!

I've categorized them into Notes (Lesson or Lecture notes), Flash (Movies or Interactive), Programs (to download and install), Web Labs(Flash labs for class), or NIH stuff (curriculum supplements)...

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the NIH Curriculum Supplements. They map out everything for you and have activities and worksheets all ready for you. If you can't get a hold of a hard copy, then download the CD's and print out the worksheets and stuff yourself.

Many of the links I put up pertain to cell biology and genetics since that is the main focus of my second semester.

Unfortunately, I don't really have too many chemistry and earth science links, but I'll post what I have anyway. Good luck to all of you!

Thanks for the compilation of all these useful links. I'm sure these will be of quite some use when we begin developing lesson plans. Glad to see you found my blog too! Thanks for the inspiration.
